How Democracies Die Wins Best Book in Global Politics Award

The Global Policy Institute at Loyola Marymount University is pleased to announce that How Democracies Die, by Steven Levitsky and Daniel Ziblatt, has been chosen for the “Best Book in Global Politics” award. The book examines how fragile democracies can be, and how they need to be shored up in a light of the many challenges to democratic integrity that have arisen in this age of globalization. The GPI congratulates the two authors for a book that is timely and important, and brings to light, one of the most vexing problems facing liberal democracies today.
